The 19th Australian Institute of Physics Congress, incorporating the 35th Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology, is being held 5-9 December 2010 at the new Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 2010 Congress will be the biggest and most diverse scientific meeting on the Australian physics calendar, attracting between 700 - 1000 delegates, and involving the most active groups in physics around the country. The fifth biennial Australian Colloid and Interface Symposium will be held at the Wrest Point Casino, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 30 January to 3 February 2011.
